Alaska Chapter

The Alaska chapter of the Inland Ocean Coalition focuses on watershed health and oil development in the last frontier. The chapter is led by KC Kent.  KC has a B.S. in chemistry and M.S. in environmental and civil engineering with a focus on water resources engineering. She is currently working as a coastal engineer Anchorage, Alaska where she works on projects directly impacting our local coastal communities. KC is passionate about our oceans megafauna, especially belugas and hammerhead sharks and work to protect them by advocating for our oceans. As a growing chapter, KC's focus is to host more community outreach events including stream and beach clean ups, and continue to participate in lobbying events with our local and national government officials.
